Facebook update for my friends:
Ok. Toomah update. Wire placement was easy , went well. Blue, radioactive dye hurt like a motherfucker, but there is an upside.. Blue boob! Toomah has LEFT THE BUILDING, and a couple of Lymph nodes said buhbuh too. Pain is reasonable. I would kill for another ten hospital biscuits..still starving. No results until at least Thursday , but I am feeling very positive, because for the most part boobage is intact. Felt the love today my dear friends and family. Thank you all from the heart of my bottom.
Love you,
Ngai xxxx
I came through the surgery beautifuly! Was wide awake and starving, and felt ready to take on the world. My surgeon did a most amazing job, and apart from the usual post surgery aches I was good to go.
Before the actual surgery I had a wire attached to the tumor, to make it easy to locate and remove. Wasnt a big deal, and I dont remember it hurting much at all. As I mentioned in the facebook update I also had dye injected into my breast ( four injections around the nipple), which then allows the surgeon to see how the breast drains to the lymph nodes. This, my darlings, hurt, as I said above, like a motherfucker. The most pain I went through during the surgeries I had. But it worked well , and I had the main ( and first) node removed at the same time as the two tumors ( side by side ) they found when they went in.
This is what my boob looked like after the dye had been injected, and it stayed blue for a week or so. Amusing for all concerned.:)
Facebook update once home:
Hey all. Am home now. More pain than last night, bruised and achy. And ever so tired. Back to the surgeon on Thursday afternoon for test results and next step. Hopefully there will be no more surgery.... So next step will be radiation. 5 days a week for 5 weeks.
All in all , so so grateful. Everything is going as it should be. Thanks to u all for the continued support and love.

Yup. At this point I was sure I was done and dusted. All post surgery reports were good. Appeared I was cruising to a quick recovery and onwards.
Very positive in myself I was:
Hey and hi.
Not a lot to share . I am sleeping a huge amount.. Seems like I will take a while to "recover" from the anesthetic... Pain is bearable . Mind is still a bit.. Well.... cotton wooly. Back to the surgeon tomorrow.
Peace out. Nxx
